The Occupational First Aid (OFA) Refresher Course is designed for individuals who have previously completed the Occupational First Aid course and wish to refresh and reinforce their first aid knowledge and practical skills for workplace emergency response.
The course focuses on maintaining competency in managing medical emergencies commonly encountered in the workplace and is conducted in accordance with prevailing Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) requirements.
This refresher course is suitable for:
Individuals who have previously completed Occupational First Aid training
Workplace safety officers and emergency response team members
Employees designated as first aiders within their organisation
Individuals seeking to refresh CPR and AED competencies
Participants will refresh and reinforce their ability to:
List the legal requirements under Workplace Safety and Health (First Aid) Regulations (Cap. 354A, Reg 4) Reg. 5 (2) for the workplace
Check and pack contents of First Aid Box
Apply first aid to accident victims in the workplace
Manage a medical emergency at the workplace
Manage victims of hazardous chemicals exposure
Refresher: 17.5 hours including 2 hours 40mins of assessment.
Conducted over 2 days, comprising classroom learning and practical training
Delivered through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice
Participants who successfully complete the course and assessments will receive an Occupational First Aid (OFA) Refresher certification issued by Singapore Ambulance Services and Training Pte Ltd, in accordance with SRFAC requirements.

Funding support of up to 80% may be available for eligible Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, subject to prevailing SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding eligibility criteria.
