The Standard First Aid (SFA) Refresher Course with CPR + AED is designed for individuals who have previously completed the Standard First Aid course and require a refresher to maintain competency and confidence in first aid response.
This course reinforces essential first aid knowledge and practical skills needed to respond effectively to common emergencies in schools, sports environments, community settings, and workplaces. Training is conducted in accordance with prevailing Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) requirements.
This refresher course is suitable for:
Individuals who have previously completed Standard First Aid training
Teachers, coaches, and sports officials
Childcare and school staff
Workplace first aiders
Volunteers and community responders seeking to refresh their skills

Funding support of up to 80% may be available for eligible Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, subject to prevailing SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding criteria and eligibility requirements.
Participants who successfully complete the course and assessments will receive a Standard First Aid (SFA) with CPR + AED certification issued by Singapore Ambulance Services and Training Pte Ltd, in accordance with SRFAC requirements.
By the end of the refresher course, participants will be able to:
Perform CPR on adults, children, and infants
Use an AED safely and effectively
Recognise and manage common injuries such as fractures, sprains, bleeding, and burns
Respond appropriately to choking emergencies
Apply essential first aid procedures until professional medical assistance arrives
