Standard First Aid (SFA) with CPR + AED – Freshers

Course Overview

The Standard First Aid (SFA) with CPR + AED course is designed to equip participants with essential first aid knowledge and practical skills to respond appropriately to common emergency situations. The course covers core first aid principles and hands-on applications relevant to schools, sports environments, community organisations, and workplaces where first aid preparedness is important.

Training is conducted in accordance with prevailing Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) requirements, with an emphasis on practical competence, confidence, and safe response during emergencies.

This course is suitable for individuals who are new to Standard First Aid training or who wish to undergo comprehensive training in foundational first aid skills.

• Freshers: 16 hours (2 days)

Course Fee

• Freshers: S$170

Subsidies & Funding

• Funding support of up to 80% may be available for eligible Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, subject to prevailing SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding eligibility criteria.

Certification

Participants who successfully complete the course and assessments will receive a Standard First Aid (SFA) with CPR + AED certification issued by Singapore Ambulance Services and Training Pte Ltd, in accordance with SRFAC requirements.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Perform CPR on adults, children, and infants

• Use an AED safely and appropriately

• Recognise and manage common injuries such as fractures, sprains, bleeding, and burns

• Provide assistance during choking emergencies

• Apply essential first aid procedures while awaiting professional medical assistance
