The Occupational First Aid (OFA) course is designed to equip participants with essential first aid knowledge and practical skills to respond appropriately to medical emergencies in the workplace. The course focuses on common workplace scenarios and practical first aid applications relevant to organisations where designated first aiders are required.
Training is conducted in accordance with prevailing Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) requirements, with an emphasis on practical competence, confidence, and safe emergency response.
This course is suitable for individuals who are new to first aid training and require foundational occupational first aid knowledge.

Employees designated as first aiders within their organisation
Individuals interested in gaining comprehensive workplace first aid knowledge
Participants will learn how to:
Perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and operate an AED safely and effectively
Manage common workplace injuries such as cuts, burns, and fractures
Respond appropriately to choking and breathing difficulties
Provide assistance during medical emergencies including heart attacks, strokes, and fainting
Understand key workplace safety and health principles relevant to first aid response

Conducted over 3 days, including workplace safety content
Delivered through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice
Participants who successfully complete the course and assessments will receive an Occupational First Aid (OFA) certification issued by Singapore Ambulance Services and Training Pte Ltd, in accordance with SRFAC requirements.

Funding support of up to 80% may be available for eligible Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, subject to prevailing SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding eligibility criteria.
