Occupational First Aid (OFA) with CPR + AED

The Occupational First Aid (OFA) Course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to manage medical emergencies in the workplace. This course is suitable for individuals who are new to first aid (freshers) and is aligned with the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) standards.

Course Objectives

Participants will learn how to:

  • Perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and operate an AED effectively

  • Manage common workplace injuries, such as cuts, burns, and fractures

  • Respond to choking and breathing difficulties

  • Handle medical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, and fainting

  • Understand and apply workplace safety and health regulations (3 hours of WSHA content included)

Course Duration & Structure

  • Freshers: 23 hours (3 days, including 3 hours of workplace safety content)

  • Conducted through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course and assessments, participants will be awarded a certificate from Singapore Ambulance Services and Training Pte Ltd
