Singapore Ambulance Service and Training Private Limited (“we,” “our,” or “the Company”) is committed to providing high-quality emergency ambulance services and training programs. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted for services and training courses. By engaging our services or registering for our courses, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

  1. Refund Policy for Ambulance Services
    Our ambulance services are deployed in critical situations with significant resource commitment. Therefore, our refund policy for services is as follows:
  • 1. Cancellation by Client:Once an ambulance is dispatched, the service is considered rendered. Cancellation after dispatch will not be eligible for a refund due to the incurred operational costs.
  • 2. Cancellation Prior to Dispatch:If a booking is cancelled 24 hours before our team has been dispatched, a full refund will be issued.
  • 3. Service Not Utilized:If our team arrives on scene and the service is not required (e.g., the patient is no longer there or has been transported by other means), a minimum service fee (50% of the total invoicing amount) will be charged. The balance, if any, will be refunded.
  • 4. Complaints & Service Deficiencies:Refund requests based on service complaints will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We are committed to service excellence, and if we fail to meet our stated service standards, a partial or full refund may be granted at our discretion following a thorough investigation.
  1. Refund Policy for Training Courses
    To ensure the effective allocation of resources and instructors for our training courses, the following policy applies:
  • 1. Cancellation by Participant:
    • More than 14 days before course start:Full refund of course fees paid.
    • Between 7 and 14 days before course start:50% refund of course fees.
    • Less than 7 days before course start:No refund will be granted.
  • 2. Transfer of Registration:Instead of cancellation, participants may request to transfer their registration to a future course session at no extra charge, provided the request is made more than 7 days in advance. Transfers are subject to seat availability.
  • 3. Cancellation by the Company:We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. In such an event, participants will be notified promptly and offered a full refund or a transfer to the next available course.
  • 4. No-Show:Participants who do not attend a course without prior notice are not eligible for a refund or transfer.
  • 5. Course Completion:No refunds will be provided for participants who commence but do not complete the course, or who fail the associated assessments.

  • 1. Processing Time:All eligible refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of approval, using the original method of payment.
  • 2. Non-Refundable Items:Certain fees, such as those for course materials, certification, or third-party licensing fees that have already been incurred, may be non-refundable once accessed.
  • 3. Amendments:Singapore Ambulance Service and Training Private Limited reserves the right to amend this refund policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of service booking or course registration will apply.

PDPA Clause for Course Participants

  1. Collection of Personal Data
    By registering for and attending courses with Singapore Ambulance Service and Training Pte. Ltd., you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data as outlined in this clause. The personal data we may collect includes, but is not limited to:
  • Full Name
  • NRIC/FIN/Passport Number
  • Contact Information (phone number, email address, residential address)
  • Photographs and video recordings from training sessions
  • Assessment and certification records
  1. Purposes for Collection, Use, and Disclosure
    We collect, use, and disclose your personal data for the following purposes:
  • To process your registration and administer the training course.
  • To manage your attendance, including Singpass e-attendance for funding purposes.
  • To assess your performance and issue certificates of completion.
  • To communicate with you regarding course details, updates, and post-course information.
  • For internal records and administrative purposes.
  • To comply with any applicable laws, regulations, and directives from government agencies and funding bodies (e.g., SkillsFuture Singapore).
  • For quality assurance, marketing, and promotional purposes, which may include the use of photographs or videos taken during the course on our website, social media, or marketing materials. (You may opt-out of this by notifying us in writing).
  1. Disclosure of Personal Data
    Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties where necessary, including:
  • Government agencies and authorized funding bodies (e.g., SkillsFuture Singapore, SSG) to verify attendance and process funding.
  • Our appointed data processors (e.g., IT service providers) who are under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Any other party to whom we are compelled or required to do so by law.
  1. Protection of Personal Data
    We will take reasonable security measures to safeguard your personal data from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, or similar risks. All data stored electronically is protected by security measures, and physical records are kept in secure locations.
  2. Retention of Personal Data
    We will retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws. This typically includes the period needed for legal, regulatory, and accreditation purposes.
  3. Withdrawal of Consent
    You may withdraw your consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data by submitting a written request to our training manager. Please note that depending on the nature of your request, withdrawal of consent may result in our inability to provide you with ongoing services, including the issuance of certificates or processing of funding.
